Sharing Your Card

There are multiple ways to share your Bümpis card. Here's how to make the most of each method.

Tap to Share (NFC)

The fastest way to share your contact info. Simply tap your Bümpis card to someone's smartphone.

How it works:

  1. 1Hold your card against the back of their phone
  2. 2A notification appears on their screen
  3. 3They tap the notification to view your profile
  4. 4They can save your contact info directly to their phone

No app required! The recipient doesn't need to download anything. Your profile opens directly in their browser.

QR Code

For phones without NFC or when you don't have your card handy, use the QR code.

  • Find your QR code on your profile page or in the dashboard
  • Show it on your phone for others to scan
  • Download and add it to presentations, email signatures, or print materials

Share Your Link

Your profile has a permanent URL that you can share anywhere:

bumpis.com/your-username

Use this link in:

  • Email signatures
  • Social media bios
  • Text messages
  • Presentations and documents

How Recipients Save Your Contact

When someone views your profile, they can save your contact info in several ways:

Save to Contacts (vCard)

One tap downloads your contact info directly to their phone's address book. Works on both iPhone and Android.

Add to Apple Wallet

iPhone users can save your card to Apple Wallet for quick access without opening an app.

They can forward your profile link to others or save it for later.

Tracking Engagement

Want to know how many people are viewing your card? Check your dashboard for:

  • Total profile views
  • Contact saves (vCard downloads)
  • Link clicks

Analytics help you understand your networking ROI and see where connections are coming from.

Sharing Best Practices

At Events

Keep your card easily accessible. A quick tap is more memorable than fumbling with paper cards.

In Meetings

Share your QR code on-screen or send your link in the chat for remote meetings.

Follow Up

After meeting someone, send your profile link as a reminder. It's more professional than "here's my info."

Keep It Updated

Unlike paper cards, your digital profile can always be current. Update it when you change roles or contact info.
